My name is Lanny Griffo. I’m 30 years old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Growing up as a pastor’s kid in a loving Christian home, I embraced my faith early on through devotions and church activities. Yet, from a young age I struggled with same-sex attraction and an internal conflict about my true identity. This left me questioning who I was and how to live a life that honors Christ. Through painful dating experiences, emotional turmoil, and deep self-reflection, I reached a turning point. By leaning on prayer, spiritual counseling, and the unwavering support of my church community, I reconciled my identity with my commitment to Jesus. Today, I testify that despite the inner conflict and struggles with sin, God’s grace has restored me to true freedom and wholeness in Christ.
