My name is Alan Gilman. I was raised in a traditional Jewish home in Montreal, Canada, surrounded by the rich heritage of the Jewish Bible. Despite the turbulence and challenges of family life, including constant conflict and personal struggles, my life took an unexpected turn when I met a Jewish believer in Jesus. In that pivotal encounter, the truth of the Messiah was revealed to me through my Jewish Bible, and I experienced a deep transformation. I was convinced that Jesus was the promised Savior and embraced Him wholeheartedly. This newfound faith redefined my identity, led me to Bible school in Toronto, and has since guided my teaching and worship. I now share my testimony so that others from similar backgrounds may find hope, direction, and the assurance that through Jesus, true redemption and transformation are possible.

Alan Gilman is a Messianic Jewish Bible Teacher. Born to a Jewish family in Montreal, Canada, Alan discovered the Messiah through a friend while a teenager.
He and his wife, Robin, also a Jewish believer, have been married for over 33 years and have 10 children. Through the years besides producing TorahBytes, Alan has been active in Bible teaching and worship leading.
