Summary

My name is Charles Rocker and I’m 30, from Collins, Missouri. I battled sex and drug addiction all my life, using substances and unhealthy relationships as coping mechanisms rooted in childhood trauma. After years of relapses and pain, I hit rock bottom and turned to AA and intensive Outpatient Therapy. In those desperate moments, I experienced God’s relentless pursuit and embraced Jesus Christ as my Savior. Through His grace, I overcame my addictions, restored broken relationships, started a contracting business, and even reconciled with a past love by getting engaged. My life is a testimony to God’s mercy, and I now live each day with gratitude, obedience, and a desire to serve Him.

Charles moved all over the country, always struggling with sex and drug addiction. Attempts at rehab and self-healing always led to another relapse.

In the midst of all depravity, God never stopped pursuing Charles. He got sober once and for all once he fully surrendered his life to Christ. A year and a half later, he has his own business, serves his local church, and is marrying one of his first girlfriends, who his former addiction enabled him to cheat on over a decade ago, but is now walking in all faithfulness to Jesus right alongside Charles.
