I had the opportunity to travel to Mazatlán, Mexico, where I met women in a rehab center overcoming addiction and even encountered two cartel members who drove hours just to hear about Jesus. I witnessed how God broke down barriers of fatherlessness and despair, offering lasting hope to those trapped in drug abuse. The highlight was praying with these cartel members as they embraced Christ, revealing how no one is beyond God’s reach. This experience strengthened my conviction that earnest prayer and boldly sharing the gospel can shatter even the toughest chains of addiction and crime, bringing true freedom in Jesus’s name.
