My name is John Desser, and my journey from a secular Jewish upbringing to discovering Jesus as my Messiah has been profound. Raised in a home with deep Jewish heritage but no religious observance, I pursued a career in politics. Encounters with influential figures like James Baker and Mstislav Rostropovich, who spoke about Jesus, piqued my curiosity. Reading the Bible for the first time, I found my Messiah in Jesus through the Sermon on the Mount and the New Testament. My faith strengthened despite fears of betrayal tied to Jewish history. I now see Jesus as the fulfillment of the promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the Messiah for all people.
