In this introductory episode, I wanted to give background on why I am doing this podcast. What better way to introduce the show than through sharing my story? God has done a major healing work in my life. After experiencing sexual abuse at a young age, I began to form lies about myself that became my identity. I thought I knew who Jesus was, but it wasn’t until my early twenties that I had a life-changing experience that took me from darkness to light. I was a new creation!

Today we’re discussing my journey from new age deception and LGBTQ identity and how Christ has shifted me into my new identity- a child of God. A new creation. There is a lot I didn’t get to cover, as a 40 minute podcast can only cover so much. However, I am looking forward to expanding on these topics in future episodes, but at the end of the day, I want to point to Jesus. I like to say that this podcast is for anyone, but it probably isn’t for everyone. There may be things you disagree with in my worldview, and that’s fine. I am just here to share MY story.
