Mother of Raafat from Sohag, Tima, went to Egypt to serve the Lord. She was raised in a religious environment but learned that her salvation came only through her cry to the Lord Jesus and her request for Him. Her life changed through decisions for transformation. She went out to serve but faced violence from her husband. His abuse continued, but she kept praying for him and was willing to endure the pain for Christ’s sake. Her husband came to faith and changed; he became the one who helped her travel and move for service. She served the Lord in Upper Egypt, Alexandria, Minya, and Aswan.
Tragically, her son fell from a tower while working and went to heaven. She felt the hand of the Lord Jesus during this difficult time. She spoke to people about the Lord Jesus, and at the burial, the consolation was a source of comfort. She went to church and showed a difference from others. The Lord gave her strength to bless her son’s wife, who remarried after his passing.
Another testimony is that she prayed for a miracle for her son, Sila, who suffered from multiple medical issues, and the Lord answered and healed him. Sila grew up, got married, and had two daughters, and he serves the Lord.
Her son, Paul, died in a bomb explosion while at work. Her heart overflowed with peace and comfort. She cried out for comfort for the family, and the Lord poured peace into their hearts. Afterward, she went to church and sang while holding the tambourine that Raafat and Paul used to play.**
