Project Restoration Testimony
Summary
I am Laura Reagan. I participated in Project Restoration, an initiative that gathers intercessors to pray for foster care children and their birth families. Over a 21-day period, I prayed for a young boy whose behavior, emotions, and connections with his foster family were transformed through the powerful presence of God. His dramatic change affirmed that God’s healing and restoration can break trauma and renew lives. I encourage everyone to join this movement and witness God’s redemptive work.

We are embarking on an endeavor to raise up intercessors who would represent God’s heart in releasing prayers and declaration for healing over foster care children and their birth families. We believe God’s heart is to bring healing and restoration so that every child could be restored to his or her birth family.
The program will gather intercessors together over a period of time to train them on how to pray for the healing of memories, emotions, and behavior as well as how to release spiritual authority, essentially breaking off trauma.
Trauma is the open door for the enemy to disrupt a child in the memories, emotions and behaviors that break off spiritual authority and we believe the prayers of an intercessor can and will bring transformation.
The initiative partners with foster care programs to pray for the children in their care. Each intercessor will purchase a pair of shoes for a specific foster care child. Daily, that intercessor will read a scripture and make a declaration over the child. They will write encouraging notes and place them inside the shoe box so that each child will have a memory of this special experience.
This prayer approach contains the same principles used in the Rt4 healing model.
