Summary

My name is Tracey Bickle. I grew up in a family that on the surface seemed fun but was filled with deep-seated trauma, neglect, and abuse. As the sixth of seven children in a low-income household with alcoholic parents, I suffered sexual abuse and emotional neglect from a very young age. I was molested by a family friend during elementary school, and that early abuse, coupled with the constant chaos and financial strain at home, left me feeling isolated and broken. Despite the pain, I encountered the Lord at a young age—my older brother’s conversion opened the door for our family to be introduced to Jesus. Even though the scars of abuse and neglect marked my childhood, God’s redemptive love began to heal my wounded heart. Through various ministry programs like Living Waters and the compassionate support of church communities, I gradually learned to let go of the shame and reclaim my identity. Today, I testify that despite the unspeakable abuse and pain, God has restored my life, healed my heart, and given me the strength to help others find hope in Him.
