Summary

Hi, my name is Corey, and I am 27 years old from New Hampshire. I was not born into a Christian family—my dad was an atheist and my mom embraced New Age beliefs—so I was drawn to astrology, reincarnation, and other spiritual ideas that promised to fill a god-sized void in my heart. Early on, I experienced sexual exploitation and quickly descended into heavy drinking and drug abuse. Tragedy struck with devastating losses, and after multiple overdoses I had a near-death encounter where I stood in the overwhelming presence of God, bathed in light, and was given a choice to live or die. That life-changing moment led me to surrender my life to Jesus, repent of my sins, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit. Today, I share my testimony to proclaim that Jesus Christ saved me, delivered me from the darkness of New Age deception and addiction, and restored me to a life filled with hope and renewal.
