Dealing with mental health issues and diabetes led to a lot of hospital visits becoming a normal part of life. Thoughts of ending it all crossed his mind, but he knew that wasn’t the answer. After a close call with an accident, he felt a sense that God was looking out for him. When medication, alcohol, gambling, and drugs failed to provide relief, he turned to Jesus. Everything shifted for him after he fully surrendered to God. One day, during a blizzard with zero visibility, he prayed for guidance and, despite being alone, he saw a figure of Jesus in the storm, feeling reassured that everything would be alright.
