My name is Matt Mbanga and I want to share how God restored my life after a devastating motorbike accident that left me badly injured and questioning my identity. I grew up in Zimbabwe, struggled to belong as a mixed-race kid, and later experienced wild days in university in Texas – leading to a lifestyle of parties, drinking, and a dangerous search for validation. Then everything changed when I was involved in a severe accident: I spent days in a coma, underwent multiple surgeries, and endured a long, painful recovery that even left me in a wheelchair. During those dark hours, my mother’s steadfast prayers and a stranger’s gifted Christian book opened my eyes. As I slowly embraced the truth of God’s redemptive work—both in healing my body and restoring my spirit—I began to understand who I truly was. Today, having reclaimed my identity, I’m dedicated to a life of purpose, forgiveness, and leadership. I grew up feeling lost and unseen, never raised in the faith despite a loving home. Life became a quest for worth and acceptance—from the pressures of high school popularity to college partying and broken relationships. I wandered searching for purpose until a chance encounter with a purpose-driven book led me to Google ‘Jesus.’ That spark changed everything. In the midst of depression, heartache, and a diagnosis of OCD, I experienced God’s gentle intervention through fasting, persistent prayer, and His healing Word. Today, I stand transformed by Jesus’ deliverance, trusting Him to restore every broken piece of my life. My testimony is a declaration that no matter how shattered we feel, His love renews and redeems us.

I struggled with being deaf and feeling isolated until a revival group showed me true family acceptance. Hi, I’m Emily. I was raised in a busy church environment where I learned the Bible from a very young age. Despite the constant presence of faith in my life, I struggled with deep feelings of inadequacy—I even cried myself to sleep, convinced I was doomed to hell because I never measured up to God’s standards. Over time, the breakup of both my family and church left me in despair, and I fell deeper into sin. I repeatedly prayed the sinner’s prayer, yet felt no change. It wasn’t until I truly repented and embraced the genuine, transformative gospel that I experienced the true freedom and healing promised by Jesus.
