I’m Dell, and I look back on the decision to have a late-term abortion—a choice born out of deep pain and a belief that my baby would be better off not entering a world where I felt unworthy. In the midst of labor pains that lasted 24 hours and the crushing weight of guilt and despair, I reached a breaking point. I was ready to end my life until a call from a church messenger changed everything. In that moment, the Holy Spirit overwhelmed me, and I was transported in a vision: I saw Jesus, a vision of my daughter dancing joyfully at His feet, and heard words that promised restoration and forgiveness. That divine encounter replaced my anguish with hope. Today, I stand transformed by Jesus’ mercy—no longer ministering out of my pain but out of the joy He has restored in my life.
