Summary

I grew up in a loving Christian family in Puerto Rico, always surrounded by church and singing about hope. As I faced life-threatening health complications after childbirth, including a battle with breast cancer and recurring tumors, I learned to cling to my faith in Jesus. Despite the physical and emotional hardships, I found strength in prayer, Bible study, and the support of my family and church community. My testimony is a song of living hope, reflecting on how God sustained me through illness, guided my character growth, and brought restoration and peace even in the face of ongoing challenges.

Becky Parilla grew up in Puerto Rico singing songs about hope in church with her family. Little did she know that after delivering a child with life-threatening health complications—and a potentially fatal condition of her own—her own life would become a song of living hope . . . hope that you can cling to as well.
