I’m Jonathan Bernis, a former Rabbi from Jewish Voice Ministries, who once wandered through drugs and rock concerts, searching for meaning beyond this life. My journey led me through deep questions about identity, purpose, and the afterlife. In college, I encountered a profound encounter with Jesus, which shattered my previous beliefs and reshaped my understanding of scripture. Through prayer, study, and community, I discovered that Jesus, or Yeshua, is the promised Messiah in our own scriptures. This revelation restored my faith, redefined my purpose, and led me to serve others globally with love and compassion. My testimony is a testament to God’s power to transform lives, overcome deep-rooted prejudices, and guide us to a life filled with peace, joy, and purpose.
