Casandra is a survivor of the Canadian sex industry. Her faith in God helped give her a hope and a future from it. She tried seeking God three times in her life. She opened the bible up to the book of Ecclesiastes about how life is meaningless. She felt put off – life was depressing for her, and the scripture she read was not what she wanted to hear. Her life became more troubling, it was confusing for her. Years after when she was involved with sex trafficking, she had been taken in by a Christian family. Casandra watched their lives of how they were changed in front of her, they were being transformed. She went back to her ways and then after genuinely seeking the Lord, she left the trafficker and her friend took her in again. She was finally able to leave her trafficker. It was an emotional experience for her. She cried for days as felt she had no hope or future. After reading more scriptures, Casandra asked God to come in her life. She had an immediate gift of peace. Since then, she never felt overwhelmed by fear and anxiety. Casandra went from little education to becoming the Executive Director of operating a charity to changing laws called BridgeNorth. The goal of BridgeNorth is to end sexual exploitation in Canada and help victims. http://bridgenorth.org Or call 1-833-900-1010
