I was addicted to heroin but then JESUS did this | Testimony
Summary
My name is Elijah, and I grew up in a Christian home yet fell into bitterness and rebellion as a teenager. I turned to drugs, starting with Oxycontin and eventually heroin, pushing away my family and nearly destroying my marriage. I overdosed multiple times—once on 16th Street in my car and another time in a hotel—each time encountering God’s voice telling me “not yet.” Eventually, I ended up in jail where I cried out to God. He met me powerfully, giving me visions and saving me from the destructive path I was on. After being miraculously released early from jail, I gave my life fully to Jesus. My marriage was restored, and I was able to travel on missions to Africa, sharing the power of God’s love and healing. Today, I run my own business, remain free from addiction, and continue surrendering every day to the Lord. My story is a testament to His amazing grace and the hope He offers us, no matter how broken our past.

“I tried something for the first time that was able to numb out the pain”
Elijah Burachek shares the story of his downward spiral into hard drugs, love of money, and a number of brushes with death and how God was able to reveal his goodness to him, changing his life forever.
Our goal is to share about the goodness of Jesus through the amazing testimonies of ordinary people, and in doing so spread the gospel of the kingdom, showing how God is still on the move today.
Testimony of freedom from heroin and drugs, forgiveness, repentence, and resurrection and coming to know the Father.
