OVERCOMER | Kayla Patenaude’s Story
It was a week before I left to summer camp with the student ministry when we started filming this. We filmed the interview at her house then b-roll of her in her room and bathroom the next day and was lucky enough to find her at the student service over the weekend. The day before camp we all woke up at 5am to catch that beach sunrise and I’m so glad we did! I finished editing and grading this during an all-nighter the day before it played during camp and it was so worth it! It’s so crazy to hear about the amount of pain and struggle someone her age has already gone through. It’s even crazier to see where she is now in comparison. I love stories of life-change!
