Summary

I grew up as a committed Muslim in Mazara Sharif, Afghanistan, deeply rooted in Islamic culture and traditions. At 19, through a trusted teacher and friend, I encountered the gospel of Jesus Christ. I read the New Testament, asked tough questions, and found undeniable truth in Christ. Choosing to follow Jesus meant leaving behind a dangerous life, facing family rejection, and risking persecution. I escaped my home under threat, fled to Kabul, and eventually found refuge in India. There, I joined the Afghan Church in New Delhi, where my faith was nurtured. My testimony emphasizes the transformative power of Christ, the strength found in prayer, and the redemption that comes from a life surrendered to Jesus despite immense cultural and personal challenges.
