Summary

I experienced deep hurt from childhood sexual abuse by a trusted family member. Growing up in a turbulent, alcoholic home with broken relationships and a threat of abortion looming over my very existence, I was left with unbearable shame and confusion. In one fateful summer when I was 11, my step-uncle invaded my innocence, an experience so traumatic I thought I would die. Yet, in the midst of that darkness, I encountered the mercy of God—His healing embrace brought restoration and transformed my heart. Over time, I learned to reject unbiblical shame and to seek an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus. Through prayer, silence, and the daily experience of His grace, I now stand redeemed, no longer defined by my past but by the love and identity I have in Christ.
