Cody Garbrandt – Learning when to stop fighting
Summary
Ever since I was a kid raised in a family of fighters, my entire life was defined by the pressure to perform and win. Every practice, every fight in the octagon, and every challenge on the court was a measure of my worth. I was driven to prove myself—constantly battling against not only my opponents but also my own doubts. Over time, I realized that true strength isn’t about fighting relentlessly; it’s about knowing when to surrender. In that moment of surrender, I discovered that my true identity and value come not from my achievements, but from Jesus Christ. This breakthrough has transformed my life and inspired me to mentor young men so they, too, can experience the freedom that comes from embracing who they are in Him.
