Summary

My name is Philip Dosa. I grew up in a large military and Christian home where expectations were high and the church routine often felt rigid. For years I chased Christianity by trying to earn God’s favor—struggling with addictions, especially pornography, and feeling disconnected despite following every rule. A life-changing moment came during a trip when a genuine conversation with a missionary opened my eyes to a different kind of relationship with Jesus—a relationship based on surrender rather than performance. I began praying daily, reading the Bible with fresh passion, and learned that true transformation comes when I receive God’s love unconditionally. Through the challenges of college, ministry conflicts, and the pressures of missions and fundraising, I gradually embraced the reality that God’s love isn’t earned by my efforts, but given freely. Today, as my family and I transition to new beginnings in Kansas City, I stand as a living testimony of how surrendering to God reshaped my identity and filled my life with His grace.

Philip chased Christianity through effort but found Christ in surrender. In small acts of obedience, he met the Father’s love and was forever changed.

Philip spent years searching for the answers to Christianity and striving for something more—only to find himself empty and exhausted. It wasn’t until he surrendered to the quiet, everyday acts of obedience that he began to see change. In the smallest steps—choosing patience, trusting in the unseen, and saying yes to the seemingly insignificant—he discovered a love deeper than he had ever known. The Father’s love met him not in his striving, but in his surrender, transforming his heart from the inside out. What he had been searching for all along wasn’t found in achievement, but in a relationship that reshaped his identity, filled his emptiness, and led him into the life he was meant to live.
