Summary

My name is Sarah and I am 36 years old, from Washington State. I grew up in a non-traditional, atheist/agnostic household with polyamorous parents and an uncensored childhood in Seattle. Surrounded by influences from the LGBT community and exposed early to adult themes, I found refuge in a secret Bible and church whenever I could. However, as I grew older, I fell into depression, began drinking, using drugs, and became obsessed with tarot and occult practices—pursuing magic, numerology, astrology, and every New Age avenue in a desperate search for answers. Over time, these dark pursuits, combined with supernatural encounters and mounting mental health struggles, left me broken and lost. Despite my chaotic lifestyle and the turmoil in my relationships (including a tumultuous marriage to a fellow New Ager), God intervened on a miraculous day. At church, during a sermon on Proverbs 4:23, I experienced an overwhelming, palpable presence of Jesus that transformed my heart. In that instant, I knew Him; my husband was saved the same day, and our lives were radically changed. Today, I live a restored life in Christ—grateful that our marriage is strengthened, our family is secure, and our daughter will grow up knowing the love and truth of Jesus.

Raised by polyamorous parents with a totally uncensored childhood, Sarah grew up with God-fearing friends who invited her to church, which she actually loved, and had a “secret Bible” that she hid from her parents because it was so antithetical to the family’s lifestyle.

After struggling with depression and being an outcast in her teenage years, she began drinking, sleeping around and smoking weed in college.

All throughout her life, Sarah saw shadow people and the paranormal activity only increased as she got older during the time when she was first introduced to magic through her “twin flame’s” ex-girlfriend who was a witch… This ultimately led to her obsessive pursuit of tarot.

She eventually got married to another New Ager and their relationship was extremely tumultuous to start. But 3 weeks before their daughter was born, she went back to church for the first time since her childhood and got saved that day…

What’s more, her husband got saved THAT SAME DAY!
