My name is Dima, and I grew up believing I could only rely on myself. Even though I survived a miraculous healing from cancer as a baby, I turned to a life of crime and hard drugs, believing I was too far gone for God to reach me. Repeated near-death experiences, including overdoses and a severe car accident, still didn’t change my hardened heart. But after losing my cousin and realizing the emptiness of my pursuits, I finally cried out to the Lord. In an instant, He freed me from addiction, lifted the weight of depression, and gave me a new purpose. Now I’m living in Sacramento, attending Kingdom Domain College, and sharing my story so others can see that no one is beyond the saving power of Jesus Christ.
